Diabetic Foot Care
A diabetic patient is considered a High Risk patient due to the complications associated with this condition.
A diabetic patient is prone to neuropathy (diminished sensation), poor circulation and is at a higher risk of infection and developing ulcers.
Diabetic patients will be given a full diabetic assessment on their first visit which will then be repeated every six months unless there is reason to carry out an assessment sooner.
Diabetic patients will be treated with exceptional care to minimise any risk of bleeding and infection.
